The British Horseracing Board is delighted to announce the appointment of Trevor Beaumont as Racing Director. Beaumont, 51, has been a co-opted member of BH?_x0019_s Race Planning Committee since 1995, and his depth of industry knowledge will prove of immense worth when he takes up the position in the New Year.
A former Chairman of the Rails Bookmakers Association and, until recently, Managing Director of Coral Eurobet, Trevor Beaumont鈥檚 blend of racing and commercial expertise makes him a very valuable addition to the BHB Executive during a period in which its commercial activities are of growing importance to the industry.
Trevor Beaumont said today:
鈥淚 am very happy to be joining BHB at this exciting time, and am especially pleased to have the opportunity to play a significant role alongside Julian Richmond-Watson, Chris Reynolds and the Racing Department in further developing the racing product.

Trevor Beaumont succeeds Paul Greeves, who has served as Racing Director since BHB鈥檚 inception in 1993, and who is leaving to take up a Senior Management role at Weatherbys Group.
