The HBF (Horseracing Bettors Forum) are pleased to announce that their annual refresh saw perhaps the highest calibre of applicants yet vying for the three spots available as others鈥� terms come to an end.
The HBF would like to welcome Charlie Hart, aged 25 who brings both bookmaker and bloodstock experience to the table, 52 year old Stephen Winter, a self鈥恊mployed on鈥恖ine gaming consultant, and Jayne Leggett, MD of Gaming Media Solutions and an expert in both gambling Compliance and Socially Responsible Gambling.
Chairman Colin Hord said:
鈥淭he calibre of aspirant this year was perhaps our highest yet, and I would like to thank both successful and unsuccessful applicants.
鈥淐harlie adds a 鈥渂ettor and layer鈥� combination and hopes to see a greater transparency between both sides, while Stephen is as passionate as us all about the sport, and is hoping for more accountability from all of racing鈥檚 stakeholders.
