Following the loss of the Grade 2, Victor Chandler Chase at Ascot on Saturday, January 11th, the British Horseracing Board is pleased to announce that a new race will be staged at Kempton Park on Saturday, January 18th, forming part of an eight-race card (12.20-4.05). Entries in the Victor Chandler Chase will not stand and trainers wishing to make an entry for the new race may do so prior to closing at the five-day stage on Monday, January 13th.
Additionally, the values of the Middlesex Novices鈥� Hurdle Race and the Twickenham Novices鈥� Steeple Chase will be enhanced as compensation for the loss of The Leamington Novices鈥� Hurdle Race (Grade 2) and The Lightning Novices鈥� Steeple Chase (Grade 2) at Warwick and Ascot respectively.
