Following today鈥檚 announcement by the Levy Board of a significant boost to prize money, British Horseracing Authority Chief Executive Nic Coward said:
鈥淚n our levy case we have argued for increased prize money as it is vitally important to Racing and crucially to the all the people who make the sport happen.
鈥淥ne of our major tasks has been to achieve a proper return for Racing that reflects its true value.
鈥淪o this is really good news, and the setting of a minimum for three years is something we will look to build on as we plan for the future.鈥�
